Tabriz, August 4, 2025 – In line with efforts to enhance exhibition industry interactions and explore existing capacities, the President of the Iranian International Exhibitions Association visited Tabriz International Exhibition Center today to observe the ongoing events and review the infrastructure of the venue.
Accompanied by the CEO and several managers of Tabriz International Exhibition, he toured various sections of the halls, booths, and technical and support facilities, gaining insight into the latest developments, challenges, and achievements of the center.
During this visit, Rahim Jalili, the President of the Association, praised the high quality of exhibitions held in Tabriz and described the center as one of the country’s major exhibition hubs. He also emphasized the need for greater support of provincial exhibitions to stimulate domestic production and boost non-oil exports.
Conversations were also held with exhibitors and participants, during which their views regarding the event’s organization, level of services, and public reception were reviewed and discussed.
Another highlight of the visit was a joint meeting where strategies to enhance exhibition services, expand inter-provincial cooperation, and strengthen the role of exhibitions in the national economy were discussed.
The visit concluded with the Iranian International Exhibitions Association presenting a bust of Habib Mahooti, the CEO of Tabriz International Exhibition Center and one of the industry’s long-standing managers, as a token of appreciation for his many years of service in Iran’s exhibition sector.
