According to the Public Relations Office of Khuzestan International Exhibitions Company, the 5th Exhibition of Rural and Nomadic Capabilities of Khuzestan Province was held from October 7 to 10, 2025 (15 – 18 Mehr 1404) at the Khuzestan International Permanent Fairground, attracting enthusiastic participation from the public.
The event featured nearly 150 exhibitors from across the province, presenting a vivid showcase of rural and nomadic communities’ production, cultural, and economic capacities.
Throughout the four-day exhibition, visitors were introduced to a wide range of handicrafts, artworks, agricultural and food products, and regional delicacies, each reflecting the rich creativity and resourcefulness of Khuzestan’s rural and nomadic population.
One of the highlights of the event was the visit of the Governor of Khuzestan to the exhibition booths. Engaging directly with rural and nomadic producers, he emphasized the importance of supporting local industries, revitalizing rural economies, promoting sustainable employment opportunities, and strengthening the value chain of production in these regions.
The exhibition was organized under the auspices of the Khuzestan Governorate, in cooperation with provincial and local executive bodies, with the main objective of introducing the province’s cultural and economic capacities, encouraging rural entrepreneurship, and expanding domestic markets for indigenous products.
Today, the Khuzestan Rural and Nomadic Capabilities Exhibition stands as one of the province’s prominent annual economic and cultural events, playing a vital role in showcasing rural achievements and enhancing the status of the local economy.
