The Khuzestan International Exhibition has earned the prestigious “International Grade A” classification— the highest national exhibition ranking—following a strong performance record, major infrastructure upgrades, and a professional approach to organizing specialized events. Alongside five other centers, it achieved this distinction in the national evaluation of exhibition centers conducted across Iran.
Rahim Jalili, Managing Director of the Khuzestan International Exhibition Company and President of the Iran International Exhibitions Association, announced the accomplishment, noting that this recognition reflects the exhibition’s elevated standing within Iran’s exhibition network and represents the result of years of targeted planning, quality improvement, expansion of foreign delegations’ participation, and diversification of the province’s exhibition calendar.
Jalili explained that in recent years, the Khuzestan International Exhibition has focused on enhancing operational services, strengthening infrastructure, attracting business delegations from various countries, and fostering wider engagement with the province’s industrial, agricultural, and commercial sectors. Through these sustained efforts, the exhibition has significantly contributed to regional economic vitality and to showcasing Khuzestan’s capabilities—achievements that have now been formally recognized through the national ranking initiative.
Elaborating on the evaluation process, Jalili noted that the exhibition center rating plan, jointly implemented by the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran and the Iran International Exhibitions Association, assessed centers nationwide based on criteria such as exhibition quality, level of international engagement, performance records, event appeal, and local capacities. The Khuzestan Exhibition earned its top-tier status due to consistent growth and strong performance across all these indicators.
Expressing gratitude to provincial authorities and economic stakeholders, Jalili emphasized that this success belongs to all business, industrial, and cultural communities of Khuzestan. He added that, supported by local leadership and the expertise of its professional team, the Khuzestan International Exhibition has taken meaningful steps toward becoming one of Iran’s leading exhibition hubs. Future plans, he said, will focus on expanding international events and attracting more trade delegations to position the center as a key platform for the province’s foreign trade activities.
According to Jalili, the exhibition center rating plan—implemented in three tiers: “International Grade A,” “International Grade B,” and “National”—marks a major milestone in the standardization and quality enhancement of Iran’s exhibition industry. Among the six leading centers awarded the “International Grade A” ranking, the Khuzestan International Exhibition stands out for its exceptional performance, strategic location, and proximity to border markets, reaffirming its role as one of the country’s most dynamic and forward-looking exhibition centers.
