On the anniversary of the heroic return of the freed prisoners of the Sacred Defense, Rahim Jalili, CEO of Khuzestan International Exhibition Company, issued the following message:

August 17, the anniversary of the proud return of our valiant freed prisoners to our beloved homeland, is a reminder of the glory of patience, perseverance, and steadfastness of those noble individuals who bore the hardships of captivity for years with faith and honor, and who gave true meaning to resilience with hearts filled with love for their country. This historic day marks the renewed embrace between our heroes and their motherland — a day of prostration in gratitude for the dignity and freedom of the sons of this land.

While honoring the memory of these great heroes, and with deep respect for the lofty martyrs of the eight-year Sacred Defense, I extend my heartfelt congratulations on this blessed day to all our dear freed prisoners, to their patient families, and to the honorable people of Iran. I pray to Almighty God for the continued dignity, health, and ever‑lasting success of these revered individuals.
