Referring to nationwide support for such events, he described the successful organization of several branded exhibitions during the current year as a clear example of synergy and constructive collaboration among exhibition centers.
The President of the Iran Association of International Exhibitions then emphasized the need to approve the 2026 Exhibition Calendar in the coming month, stating that the executive regulations and provincial exhibition calendar for 2025 marked a turning point in the management of Iran’s exhibition industry. He noted that the Association’s cooperation in resolving calendar overlaps among different exhibition centers, as well as in setting booth allocation tariffs for International Grade A, International Grade B, and National exhibition centers, significantly improved exhibition discipline throughout the year.
Referring to this successful experience, he expressed hope that the 2026 Exhibition Guidelines would be issued as soon as possible, enabling the Association to take timely action in setting tariffs and preventing calendar overlaps.
During the meeting, Mohammad Ali Dehghan Dehnavi, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and Head of the Iran Trade Promotion Organization, expressed appreciation for the measures taken in the country’s exhibition sector. He reaffirmed ITPO’s support for the organization of Expo exhibitions, particularly Khuzestan Expo, stating that the presented report reflects coherent and goal-oriented planning, and recommending that this approach be maintained.

He added that focusing on specialized audiences, providing suitable negotiation spaces, proper scheduling, the presence of professional English- and Arabic-speaking interpreters, and effective protocol and logistics management are key requirements for the success of such events.
