During a meeting between the Director General of the Minister’s Office and Advisor to the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade (MIMT) and the CEO of Khuzestan International Exhibition Company, the importance of the Ministry’s support for the organization of the Iran–Khuzestan Export Capabilities Exhibition (Expo 2025) was emphasized.
According to the Public Relations Office of Khuzestan International Exhibition Company, the meeting was attended by Seyed Abbas Hosseini, Director General of the Minister’s Office and Advisor to the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade; Rahim Jalili, CEO of Khuzestan International Exhibition Company and President of the Iran Association of International Exhibitions; and Mohammad Masoudi, Secretary General of the Association. During the session, a comprehensive report was presented on the measures taken, planning efforts, and arrangements made for the organization of the Khuzestan Export Expo.
In the meeting, Rahim Jalili outlined the process of preparing the exhibition, referring to the export-oriented approach of Khuzestan Expo, the participation of provincial and national bodies, the formation of a policy-making council and specialized committees, as well as the measures implemented to attract foreign trade delegations. He described the event as a strategic opportunity to showcase Iran’s production and export capabilities, particularly those of Khuzestan Province.
Emphasizing the vital role of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade in the success of the exhibition, Jalili called for the effective use of the Ministry’s supportive capacities in areas such as encouraging the participation of large enterprises, mobilizing industrial associations, and facilitating procedures related to the active involvement of producers and exporters in the event.
Mohammad Masoudi, Secretary General of the Iran Association of International Exhibitions, also highlighted the overarching objectives of Khuzestan Expo 2025, stressing the need for synergy among executive institutions, policymaking bodies, and the private sector in order to enhance the quality of the exhibition and transform it into an effective platform for the development of commercial and export interactions.
After reviewing the reports, Seyed Abbas Hosseini, Director General of the Minister’s Office and Advisor to the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, commended the efforts made to organize Khuzestan Expo. He underlined the importance of such events in advancing the country’s non-oil export development policies, and stated that support for this exhibition would be pursued within the framework of the mandates and capacities of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
The Iran–Khuzestan Export Capabilities Exhibition (Expo 2025), as one of the country’s key export-oriented events, aims to strengthen business relations, introduce production capacities, and facilitate the conclusion of commercial contracts. The exhibition will be held from February 3 to 5, 2026, at the Permanent Site of Khuzestan International Exhibitions in Ahvaz.
